MAGA

Candles that carry the Carpathian mountains indoors

MAGA turns the legends of the Hutsul molfars into scent, clay and flame: a morning, a day and an evening in the mountains.

In the Hutsul highlands, the molfars were said to heal with herbs, speak with animals and read the weather. MAGA, which calls itself Ukrainian magic, takes that folklore as its starting point. The brand insists its candles are not simply decor but a small daily ritual: a way to pause and return to nature.

Morning, Day, Evening

The first collection follows the cycle of a mountain day. Morning smells of fresh moss, herbs and early mist. Day draws on Lake Synevyr and spiced herbs. Evening sits beside a mountain fire, with cedar, pine and bark.

Not just candles. A connection to nature and to yourself.

Made to keep

Each candle is poured into a sculpted clay vessel that outlives the wax, and arrives in a deep blue box worthy of a gift. Twisted ritual candles in red, white and black nod to the colours of Ukrainian embroidery.
