Ukrainian Pages was founded in Montreal by Vasil, an entrepreneur who runs a marketing agency that has worked with leading Canadian and Swiss brands. It is a 100% pro bono project, built so that Ukrainian talent abroad can be found.

Ukrainian Pages was founded in Montreal by Vasil, an entrepreneur from Uzhhorod, Ukraine, who has called Canada home since 1995. He runs a Montreal-based marketing agency with years of experience leading campaigns for major Canadian and Swiss brands.
When the full-scale war began in 2022, that experience became deeply personal. Vasil opened his home to arriving Ukrainian friends and families, offering temporary lodging, helping them find work and connecting them with the Montreal community through his network.
Watching talented newcomers (hairstylists, bakers, contractors, designers and artisans) start from zero made one thing clear: talent was never the problem, visibility was. Without word-of-mouth or advertising budgets, finding first clients was the hardest step.
So Vasil put his agency's resources and marketing expertise into Ukrainian Pages: a 100% pro bono community platform that gives Ukrainian-owned businesses abroad the visibility, search presence and community trust they deserve. Today it connects thousands of businesses across North America and Europe.
How we got here

A new home in Montreal
Vasil immigrates from Uzhhorod, Ukraine, and builds a career in marketing, later founding his own Montreal agency.

Opening the door
When the full-scale war begins, he hosts arriving Ukrainian friends and families in his home, helps them find jobs and introduces them to the Montreal community.

The first Ukrainian Pages
Seeing skilled newcomers struggle to find their first clients, he launches the first version of the site, completely free for providers.

Rebuilt from the ground up
The project is reworked into a bilingual, global platform with verified listings, reviews, events and smart search.
