AO Tea is a European online store for specialty tea. It offers single-origin loose-leaf teas from China, Taiwan and Japan, in limited lots. The shop began with a practical problem: after its founder moved from Ukraine to Portugal, good tea was hard to find locally, and orders through friends and intermediaries were slow and inconsistent. The range is deliberately small and seasonal rather than a huge catalog. The teas come from small producers, cooperatives and trusted partners in each country who work close to the gardens and keep provenance traceable. That also gives access to seasonal lots. Product pages describe each tea in plain language, with practical brewing guidance for home use. AO Tea ships to most EU countries.
